Please don’t immediately trust other drain service companies that offer main line cleaning for under $99 with a ‘free’ camera inspection, because they just want a foot in the door of your home. There is always a catch in terms and conditions, always a bigger bill in the end, always high-pressure upselling scare tactics that you need to repair or replace your sewer line and/or a list of plumbing repairs that may not be warranted. Typically, a $99 drain “clearing” is attempting to run a cable once through your line creating a hole to get drainage and then they tell you it will be more $$$ for the time to actually clean the line of roots and debris. Before hiring these gimmicky companies, please do your due diligence with some research and ask questions about their process of “clearing” vs. “cleaning” the drain and all the possible extra fees to expect.
