It is also important to have ceiling fans in places with central air conditioning. Not only can you keep the temperature higher in your home but you can keep the electricity bill down. The fan will circulate the cooler air throughout the room.
On the side of the ceiling fan there is a reversing switch. Make sure the switch is in the right spot during the different seasons.
