Toilet + Clog + Doesn’t Drain
Call Ken’s Sewer Service for all your plumbing needs.
Commercial toilets seem to be the most powerful in the industry but that doesn’t mean you can’t have one at your own house. Power flush toilets can either be a Sloan or Zurn flushing toilets or a true air + water flushing toilets. Power toilets are louder but they don’t clog up that often like your own residential gravity flushing toilet.
Years ago 3.6 gallon flushing toilets went to 1.6 gallon flushing toilets. Yes, they sell toilets flush 2 gallons less water. So naturally they clog and block up more then back in the day. What I find even more interested is that on top of having only 1/6 gallons of water to flush they also sell toilets that are called power saver toilets. Power saver toilets are toilets that flush only half or less of the 1.6 gallons.
There are still good flushing gravity flushing toilets out there to purchase but you’ll easily spend over $250 for a toilet. Be careful and treat your toilet with respect. It’s not cheap to replace a new one.
Ken’s Sewer Service installs, repairs and replaces all toilet and every brand. If your in the market for buying a new toilet call Ken’s Sewer and will guide you in the right direction for what to purchase and will also set up an appointment to install it.

Replacing a toilet not always made simple
Replacing a toilet isn’t always easy and honestly most the time their are serious problems that need a professional plumber. Plumbers are aware of what is wrong but to the average person an issue might not hit them straight in the face.
For example: In the pictures below the flange of the toilet needed to be replaced. Every time a toilet is pulled and lifted of the ground be aware that an issue may need to be address further under the toilet. Once a toilet supply line is disconnected it may not attach properly to the new threads of the shut-off or toilet tank itself. A toilet shut off may not turn off all the way and might need replacing before even addressing the toilet itself. Replacing the shut off will consist of turning off the main water shut off to the entire house. To go one step further if the main water shut off valve doesn’t turn off, then the city will have to be called to turn off the water from outside near the street.
Ken’s Sewer Service can help address any plumbing issue with any toilet. One piece or two piece toilet our company works on.

“Toepener”
With living in such a fast pass life people have somehow forgotten how to wash their hands. To the naked eye public restrooms may look clean but don’t let your eye fool you. Public restrooms may be tidy but are NOT clean. This invention of the toepener is one the smartest most needed tools to exit a bathroom. Believe it or not but most people do not wash their hands after using the bathroom. Take a second and think about how dirty that door handle is.
